Moments between the frames
I don't direct. I observe. I wait. And when the moment arrives — when the mask drops and something real surfaces — I press the shutter.
I work almost exclusively with natural and found light. No ring lights. No heavy retouching. The result is imagery that feels intimate, honest, and timeless — not trendy.
My studio is in a heritage-listed building on Johnston Street, Fitzroy. North-facing windows, raw brick, and good light from dawn to dusk. For location work, I favour Melbourne's industrial edges — warehouses, laneways, and rooftops where the city's texture becomes part of the story.
"Working with NOIR felt like a conversation. The images captured something I didn't know was there."
— Sarah L., Creative Director, M&C Saatchi Melbourne
Currently booking portrait and editorial sessions for early 2025. Limited availability — I take on a maximum of 8 sessions per month to ensure every project gets the attention it deserves.
