The people behind YINO

Two founders, one small team

YINO Web Studio is run directly by its two founders: one from brand and digital campaigns for some of the biggest names in tech and entertainment, one from semiconductor engineering. Between them they have taken products from zero to paying customers — and they bring that same standard to small-business websites in Australia.

Joey

Director · AI applications & international business

Joey runs client work at YINO and leads its AI and international business. After Iowa State University he built his early career at Bilibili in Shanghai and at Havas Group, delivering brand strategy, digital content and go-to-market campaigns for Apple, Tencent, NetEase, ByteDance and Disney.

He founded a content and project incubation company in 2021, and in 2025 launched YINO's Australian AI business in Melbourne — AI voice reception and business-automation products shaped around what overseas clients actually need. Several of those first clients are now long-term partners.

Alex

Founder · Technical lead

Alex is responsible for how every YINO site is built, hosted and kept fast. He studied Computer Science at the University of California, Riverside, and comes from the semiconductor industry — where software has to be right the first time.

Over five years building chip-design toolchains and industrial software for top-20 fabless companies and Meituan, he set up the CI/CD pipelines that made his team roughly ten times faster, took a chip project through tape-out, built a test-automation framework from scratch, ran the company's programming and AI training, and deployed DeepSeek on-premise. In 2024 he led Meituan's AIGC engineering project — the platform and the staff AI-training programme behind it.
