Standard off-the-shelf Shopify templates felt generic and clinical. The brand needed a warm, home-friendly visual identity that clearly explained why plant-based tofu litter (Green Tea Silver Ion & Apple Tree Bark formulas) is low-dust, fast-clumping, and odour-controlling while keeping mobile add-to-cart friction minimal.
03 · Project Goal
Design and deploy a custom Shopify theme on www.purrfectscoop.com.au with bento-grid product merchandising, a slide-out AJAX cart drawer, educational pet-care guides, and accelerated AUD checkout.
04 · Delivered Scope
Bespoke Shopify theme (purrfectscoop-theme v1.0.0) with custom colour tokens (--cream, --teal, --coral, --sage), custom SVG paw iconography, Bento product showcase (/collections/all), slide-out AJAX cart drawer (/cart/add & /cart/change), educational 'Why Tofu Litter' & care guide modules, customer review cards, and newsletter capture.

Preserved full native Shopify inventory, variant management, customer accounts (/account), order fulfilment, PayPal/Shop Pay accelerated checkout, and Shopify WebMCP structured policy tools.

Visual concept and interactive layout prototyped first (with the internal concept preview at /previews/purrfectscoop/ kept noindex), then engineered into a production Shopify Liquid theme and launched on www.purrfectscoop.com.au.
